The Best Plumbing on Amazon: Our New Home’s Fixtures!

I cannot contain my excitement about the chic new plumbing fixtures we’ve handpicked for our forever home. Trust me, I scrolled through and looked at endless options on Amazon before we landed on a a mix of Moen fixtures that are seriously swoon-worthy.

Shawn and I had this vision of walking into a space that felt ours. A blend of warmth, style, and a splash of luxury that you get from those little details. Most of our picks are Moen. They’ve got this irresistible charm that can turn any blah bathroom into a spa sanctuary and we really trust the quality. We chose a combo of primarirly gold and nickel finishes so we could play around with the mood in each room. The gold ones have this warm, inviting vibe. And the nickel ones add sophistication to our spaces.

But my FAVORITE piece? A black kitchen sink that anchors the kitchen. It’s this majestic, matte black centerpiece that draws you, honestly, it stole my heart the minute I saw it. It looks even more fabulous in person. Every time I think about our new kitchen, I can’t help but smile. It’s durable, it’s got style for days, and it whispers a subtle sophistication that ties our whole kitchen together.

Decorate for Spring + Summer With Me: The Mackenzie Childs Edit

For those of you who have followed me for a while now, you know I am a die-hard Mackenzie Childs fan. Each season, I mix new pieces with signature pieces I have collected throughout the years! And this spring is no exception to that! I recently ordered SO many new items for my dining room tablescape, kitchen accents, and front porch decor. Butterflies seem to be trending now more than ever, but I must say they’ve always been a favorite of mine. The second I saw these pillows, I HAD to have them! So I used these as my inspiration for the rest of the porch, hehe. I’ve had the rug and plant boxes for a bit now but the new MC plant stands and darling rain boots matched perfectly! Last, I added coordinating florals (tagged below) and a custom wreath from @babamwreaths.

In my kitchen, I usually stick with my favorite courtly check, then mix in seasonal colors. The tray and buckets seen in my centerpiece are great because they are serve-ware that double as decor! I did branch out a bit by incorporating the newest pattern to be introduced–Sterling Check. The subtle hints of yellow and blue of the tea kettle help pull together the pastel florals and tea towels.

And for your next date night or party, these champagne flutes and ice bucket are such a classy touch! The amber luster on the stem and gold detail rim are stunning!

Back to butterflies for a full circle moment. I knew I wanted to keep my butterfly place setting the same while also using the courtly Easter eggs, so the Mackenzie Childs green candles and butterfly holders pulled it all together! For Easter and a bit more greenery, I added moss bunnies and eggs!

Walmart Home Fall Refresh

Y’all know I’m always looking for new decor pieces to give me an excuse to redecorate! It may seem like this could get a little pricey, but luckily Walmart has the best home decor at an even better price point. Today, I wanted to share my recent decor project going on in our entryway.

I’ve been itching to refresh this space and what better time than fall. The selection at Walmart made it easy to shop for everything I had imagined for this space, from pumpkins to candles to rugs! I ended up with so many darling finds!

I first started with this gorgeous rug from Walmart and went from there (see my inspiration board here):

I already had the table shared below, so I wanted to see if I could make it work BUT I do have to say I LOVE the Walmart table I shared in my inspo pic! I am ALL about adding a cute basket, festive pillows, and a blanket to make it a cozier feel and may end up ordering that table instead! I purchased this floor to ceiling arched mirror years ago and paid $$$$ for it! I was SO happy when I saw one SO similar for you all that is available now at Walmart!

First up, can we take a moment for this beautiful rug?! This was just one of many Walmart had to offer–it was hard to pick a favorite! I loved the colors and the pattern that this rug gave plus it reminded me so much of the super expensive vintage rugs BUT I was able to grab this rug for under $70 and it came in just a couple of days!

No space is complete without a wreath (you all know I LOVE holiday wreaths)! Walmart had a great assortment of colors and styles in all of their decor, but especially when it came to thee wreaths. I can’t wait to hang these around the house this season and tie together my fall decor
