Bo’s Construction Themed 3rd Birthday Party

It’s so hard to believe my baby boy is THREE! My goodness where has time gone?! This last year being able to be full time at home with Bo has been the biggest blessing and have not taken a second for granted.

Bo’s really into all things construction right now so picking a theme for his third birthday party was not a difficult one! We had so much fun planning and pulling this party off and celebrating our big three-year-old with friends and family. I cannot believe how fast time has gone, it’s true what they say that the days are long but the years are short. Bo, you are so very loved and we cherish every memory made with you.

My favorite part of this party set up (other than the dessert table, of course) were all the fun details on the kids’ table! From the traffic cone cups to the shovels, I wanted to hang out and color with the kiddos. The boys, of course, were all about the sandbox! We lucked out with some seriously gorgeous South Carolina fall weather, and all in all had the dreamiest day celebrating sweet Bo!

I received so many messages asking for product links so I included it ALL, the majority of it is from Amazon!

A special thank you to SipHipHorray for the darling custom cups and Koozies!

Toddler Bedroom Reveal

I cannot believe my baby is big enough to have a “big boy bed” *cue all the tears* — we had the best time bringing this fun play/bedroom to life and I hope he always loves it as much as he does right now! Babies sure don’t keep! TIME PLEASE SLOW DOWN. New mama’s don’t blink!

Bo’s Back to School Style

I did not think it would be as much fun to dress a boy as it is… but, as it turns out, styling Bo is one of my absolute favorite things to do. I love when the seasons change (or he goes up a size) and I get to totally re-vamp his wardrobe. It it just me or did summer completely fly by? Because back to school season is already in full-swing here and even though it’s about a million degrees here, I couldn’t resist getting Bo styled for fall.

We love shopping at Walmart for everything so it only makes sense we’d also gravitate toward their apparel. Their kids fashion selection is filled with on-trend styles that don’t break the bank. Which is perfect, because I swear Bo literally grows out of his clothes while he is wearing them. Their quality is consistently amazing and I love how we can get an array fun, stylish clothes that are also super practical for play!

Walmart is the ultimate one-stop shop for everything from pajama sets to sneakers and back-to-school essentials… I also snagged a few goodies for myself. They even offer FREE 2-day shipping on orders over $35, which is a total lifesaver! It makes life so much easier and we can truly get something for everyone! Here are a few fashion staples we couldn’t live without!

*Special thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Best Stroller for Summer Adventures

We are ALWAYS on the go. In between travel, and shooting, and being the mom of a 20-month-old there’s not a lot of “down time.” And when it’s summertime here at the beach, we absolutely love playing tourist. Broadway at the Beach is the perfect spot to explore our own city, have a quality family outing, and entertain Bo. From the aquarium to the merry-go-round to miniature golf, the options are endless… but it requires a ton of walking, and stairs, and in-and-out of the car adventuring. Which is not always convenient with a semi-mobile toddler in tow.

Luckily, we’ve found the perfect solution. The Baby Jogger city mini 2 stroller is super easy to carry and transport in an out of slim spaces. The lightweight, compact, 3-wheel design allows for easy maneuvering for everyday errands or out-and-about exploring with my little one. I can even lift a strap with one hand and the city mini 2 folds itself: simply and compactly. It really is as easy as it sounds. And the auto-lock will lock the fold for transportation or storage. Basically, every mom’s dream, am I right? Anything I only need one hand to accomplish solves half of my struggles.

The Baby Jogger city mini 2 has an all-new design with forever air rubber tires and all-wheel suspension providing uncompromised agility on any terrain. (For Shawn and Bo that means off-roading adventures!) And I know that Bo is riding comfortably with the Baby Jogger city mini 2 adjustable calf support and near flat seat recline. He has the longest legs so this is a must-have for Bo!

My little one is protected from the sun with the full coverage UV50 canopy. Which, in the summer heat, is so important to me!

I’ve been able to use my new city mini 2 from day one with the included city GO infant car seat adapters. It was so convenient when Bo was still in his infant carrier and I could transport him from the car to the stroller. So if you’re looking for the only stroller you’ll ever need, this one is it! It is definitely an all-in-one stroller that your little one will grow with.
