When you’re from the South, Lilly Pulitzer is part of life… I’ve always loved a colorful, bold print and Lilly’s summer collection is just the right amount of playful nautical for Inlet life. (Plus, I can so easily coordinate the entire family with this collection which is a serious bonus because why would I not want Bo to coordinate with me at all times!) J Crew Summer Haul | Try On

It’s officially too hot to go outside so this try on was delivered straight to my door. Thank you UPS, and also, I apologize that you know me by name. I’ve always loved the flirty, classic J Crew vibe and summer always taps into my preppy side! They had some serious sales happening so this haul was a steal!

The perfect summer dress for a day date, long enough to chase around Bo and dressy enough for a casual wedding! This dress runs true to size, but the earrings are my FAVORITE!

You can do SO MUCH with this blouse; it would be killer tucked into a pencil skirt for work or paired with high-waisted jeans for date night. I need like five more prints in this. And I am obsessed with the scallop detail on these shorts! Another great, mom-approved length.

This blazer is a business casual must-have. Perfect for any season and looks way more expensive than it was! And are y’all into blue light glasses? If you are on your phone or computer all day you’ve GOT TO TRY THEM! Especially if you get headaches, they are a game changer!

Switched sunnies and denim and now I’m ready for a day of shopping. This would also be the most chic airport outfit ever.

Summer Essential | The Platform Sandals

I’m 5’2″ so anything that’s going to make me seem even the tiniest bit taller, that also doesn’t require me to stand on my tip toes, is 100% Whitney approved. When my beloved 90’s era platform sandals made its modern revival I was hesitant to try out the resurrected trend. Even though the 10-year-old version of myself was ALL IN and ready to buy some glitter jelly sandals and a Limited Too blow-up chair. But, now that they’ve combined the platform sandal with the espadrille in the chicest summer way… I. Can’t. Get. Enough.
