The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale aka the #NSale is different from other major big-box retail sales that discount end-of-season inventory. The #NSale is actually pre-sale of Fall trends; letting you build you wardrobe at a discount for a few weeks before the season actually starts. Which. Is. Amazing. I do have to say tho, things sell out SUPER quickly, so being able to PREVIEW the sale is super helpful so you can “favorite” the items you want now, and purchase when it is your time! I do have to say tho, and I say this EVERY year…I will NEVER advocate for you to get a credit card just to shop this sale. I promise if something you are eyeing sells out, I will find you cuter at an even better price!
While it may be a little too warm to style sweaters right now, come October you’ll be oh-so-glad you pre-shopped all your cool weather essentials. 
A few tips for NSale shopping I’ve picked up throughout the years:
- Stock up on staples like higher-end denim, it is seasonless and premium denim rarely goes on sale!
- Now is the time to buy that bag you’ve been eyeing! Accessories, especially bigger ticket items, are going to help you get the most bang-for-your-buck out of this sale… and the majority of handbags you can style year-round, making it a great investment piece.
- Search by brands you’re familiar with. I know, sometimes it’s hard to shop online. There is SO MUCH INVENTORY to sort through that it’s almost too much to process and after an hour of “adding to cart” you just give up completely, but if you start off by shopping brands you know and love it can help to eliminate some of the stress of scrolling through unlimited pages of options.
